For Immediate Release: March 27, 2022

Sioux Falls, South Dakota – Local mountain bike group Falls Area Singletrack (FAST), will host a Bike & Outdoor Gear Swap on Sunday, April 24th at Remedy Brewing Company. All fees and admissions raised from the swap will help fund the work of FAST including maintenance and repairs on the singletrack trail systems at Leaders Park, Yankton Trail Park, Tuthill Park, Legacy Park, Dunham Park, Great Bear Recreational Park, River Greenway Parks, and future trail building projects currently being planned with city land managers.

FAST first organized the Bike & Outdoor Gear Swap to help fund initial trail development at Leaders Park. Monies raised this year will help the group continue their efforts.  Local bike shops Spoke N Sport and Sioux Falls Bicycle Company have already committed to having tables at the swap.

“While maintenance to the trails is all volunteer time and work – tools, signage, insurance, and future projects all require funding,” said Ben Blomberg, FAST President. “We have projects in the works and look forward to continuing our mission and building more trails for Sioux Falls.”
