How do I become a fast member?
Falls Area SingleTrack (FAST) is a volunteer-driven, membership based nonprofit organization that relies on membership dollars to cover operating costs. All of our work is performed by dedicated volunteers, but the tools, materials, insurance, equipment rental and a thousand other necessary items all cost money. Your support will help us make strategic investments that will ease the cost of maintenance and allow us to plan and develop new mountain bike trails in the Sioux Falls area.
Falls Area Singletrack is a chapter of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA). We have taken the steps in aligning with IMBA and unifying a world wide mountain biking movement. Organizations more closely connected to IMBA have an increased level of support for sustaining our local group's infrastructure including joint membership. A FAST membership is also automatically a membership with IMBA.
Where do my membership dollars go?
Our expenses include, but are not limited to insurance, tools, equipment, gas, trail signage and building materials.

About the imba chapter program
The chapter program is IMBA’s initiative to create a unified voice for mountain bikers. Simply put, the mountain bike movement is stronger when local and national organizations work in tandem to create great trail experiences. IMBA has the professional full-time staff, the database capabilities and the institutional knowledge to make an impact, while local clubs have the relationships and (most importantly) the trails. Together, we can increase access and bring more people to the ride!

Membership dollars are split between Falls Area Singletrack and IMBA. A percentage goes to IMBA to pay for their staff to help us manage our club’s administrative duties and assist with outreach and development.
