A Community Effort
The Great Trail Build is made possible through the dedication of volunteers, community donors, and local partners. FAST has been working toward this vision for years, with Phase 1 representing the first visible step in a larger, multi-phase buildout that will expand trail opportunities at Great Bear Ski Valley.
"This project has been years in the making, and Phase 1 is a direct reflection of what can happen when a community comes together around trails," said Reva Graves, Communications Director, Falls Area SingleTrack (FAST). "We’re thrilled to invite the public out to ride, celebrate, and experience what the future of Sioux Falls singletrack looks like."
"As an avid biker and Great Bear team member, I am very excited for what this brings to our area," said Kyle Vanderberg, Director of Mountain Operations at Great Bear Ski Valley. "We often go an entire summer without seeing some of our winter guests. This will bring more of the fun winter atmosphere to the summertime. No more 'off season,' just switching gears to the next season's fun outdoor activities! It will be nice to see our trail system, new and old, utilized year-round."
